“Siv” candlestick

.

One of the earliest “candlesticks” used by peasants in the Middle Ages was a combination of a stand and a clip to hold a rush dipped in tallow, a Rush-Light. Rush is “Siv” in Danish.

The candle holders height is variable.
The height of the stand is 234mm.

Materials are brass and stainless steel.
Weight 560g.

Made in Denmark by Delite.
